Summit County Partners with Nonprofits Against the Opioid Epidemic
In her recent State to the County, Summit County Executive Ilene Shapiro announced the County’s partnership with two nonprofits, Hope United and Restore Addiction Recovery. This is in an effort to provide treatment against the opioid epidemic in Northeast Ohio. The County intends to donate 25 acres of land where the old Edwin Shaw Hospital once operated to assist with the construction of an Addiction Treatment Facility and an adjacent Community Center. Peninsula Architects is honored to collaborate and support their efforts as the lead architect for both projects.
